東京2月7日電 據《朝日新聞》報道,位於日本廣島縣尾道市的瀨戶田町迎來了新型檸檬的收穫期。初夏,當檸檬果實尚小時,農戶們將檸檬放入心型模具中,之後即可獲得心形檸檬,收穫期為每年12月至3月。
心形檸檬為日本農業協同組合聯合會(JA)與當地農戶合作推出,始於18年前。3年前,為培養出形狀更加美觀的心形檸檬,提高培養效率,當地還研發了新的模具。收穫的心形檸檬將銷往山口縣的紅茶製造公司、東京的餐館以及當地的麵包房。而由於情人節、白色情人節將至,這些心形檸檬還將遠銷東京、大阪、廣島等地。
